ARI’S THEME
Ari’s Theme is an incredibly moving documentary that follows Ari Kinarthy on a journey to compose a profoundly personal musical score to capture and accompany his most cherished memories. Directed by Nathan Drillot and Jeff Lee Petry, the film also provides fascinating commentary on what drives people to create, whether it’s to impact an audience emotionally, to be remembered, or grow personally. For Ari and many others, it’s a combination of all three.
We were thrilled to support the ARI’S THEME world premiere at Hot Docs, it’s debut at VIFF where it opened the festival with a screening that was live scored by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and it’s festival and broadcast run. We secured coverage for the film in Deadline Hollywood and reviews and interviews in outlets including POV, CBC and more.
“Ari’s music plays throughout the film. It’s brooding and beautiful, epic and tender, the perfect soundtrack for a documentary that is all of those things.”
